My post-Christmas and New Years was much quieter than expected. Well, in the sense that we didn't go to some of the events that we'd intended to. Volume wise, the house has been ringing with the sound of coughing, sneezing and moaning. :)

We had a wonderful Christmas hanging with the various families. We were going pretty much from the 24th to the 26th, had a bit of a break on the 27th, then back to Toronto for karaoke. I had a sore throat by that evening, but I assumed it was just too much running around and singing. It's now the 3rd of January, and today is the first day since the 27th that I've been able to swallow without moaning, breathe through my nose, stay awake for more than an hour at a time... all great things.

However... it meant no New Years Party, no hanging with Vince and Sandra, no Stanley Christmas, no week of relaxing, trying out my new sewing machine or the XBox 360 Kinect, playing computer games, or writing.

And I have to work tomorrow.
